It was on the second day of our six week great exploration tour in East Greenland we spotted this beautiful polar bear on shore as we were sailing by the coast. It looked like he was just finishing a good meal and he was very peaceful and secure in his natural habitat.

We arrived in Vestmannaeyjar on the 13th of July after 5 weeks journey from Dublin, through Scotland’s west coast, up to Faro Islands and then finally to Vestmannaeyjar, a small island south of Iceland. The crew was very happy and overwhelmed by the good reception of friends and family.
The family went to Malahide in Ireland for Easter to start preparing the boat for the journey home to Iceland, which is scheduled in June. There was a lot to do since our Wild Geese was completely wild, she had been standing and waiting for new owners for long period of time.
